Our Art, Design & Technology department would like to celebrate the fantastic work our students produce during their classes and for their GCSE and A Level work. Here is a small selection of the wonderful creations from our GCSE Graphics, Year 7 & 10 Resistant Materials & Year 11 Food Preparation & Nutrition students. We featured these examples in the March 2018 newsletter and hope to update this on a regularly basis.
Well done to our students featured this time and to everyone else who has produced some outstanding work. Sorry there is not room to include you all this time!
Food Preparation & Nutrition
Year 11 were set the task of planning and cooking a meal for a celebration of their choice.
Ella Holmes chose an Easter family get together and cooked Eggs Royal, Chicken Korma, Rice and home-made Nan Bread followed by Marshmallow and Strawberry Mousse for dessert.
Kaci-Leigh Nicholson Hadley decided to prepare a meal to celebrate Diwali and her chosen dishes were Curried Chicken Kebab with a main course of Paneer Butter Masala with Rice and a dessert of Kheer (a type of rice pudding.)
Morgan Hymers wanted to cook a Birthday meal for his Mum based upon her love for Mediterranean cuisine. Morgan made Roasted Stuffed Peppers with home-made Wholemeal Rolls, Chicken Basque and a dessert of Tiramisu.
