GCSE Results Day & Guide to Grading
GCSE Results Day – Thursday 23rd August
School will be open from 9:00am until 11:00am for Y11 pupils to collect their examination results. Uncollected results will be sent out by second-class post after this time. Results for Y10 pupils will be issued when school re-opens in September; however any Y10 pupils wishing to collect results on Thursday 23rd August may do so between 10:00am and 11:00am.
Pupils are strongly recommended to collect their results in person. If you would like any other person (including family members) to collect results on your behalf you must provide Mrs Williams or Mrs Guz with written authorisation before 6th July. The nominated person must bring a copy of this written authorisation and proof of identity with them on results day. Results cannot be issued without these guidelines being followed. Alternatively you can leave a large stamped addressed envelope with the Exams Office so that your results can be posted to you, or pre-arrange email transmission before 6th July. Please be aware that we will only be able to email results to your school email address, and must have received prior written authorisation to do so. We will not be able to action any requests to email results received on the day.
Results cannot be given out by telephone under any circumstances.
