SWRA has a broad based Virtual Learning Environment which encompasses many elements including online textbooks and testing platforms, our parent portal, and a more traditional online storage base for revision materials.

Our VLE provision will be changing shortly as we move our resource hosting away from Open Hive to one Drive and this will form part of a wider upgrading of our online services to students by providing every student with a free version of Microsoft Office 365.

This software is cloud based so can be accessed on all internet based devices and let pupils view and edit a wide range of Microsoft documents including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. As well as a having access to the software online all pupils will be able to download this version of Microsoft Office on to their home computers or laptops for free, to be able to use the software in an offline setting.

Information on how to access the schools online resource base including Usernames and Passwords will be sent home in the next few weeks alongside tuition in school for pupils on how to use Microsoft Office 365.
