Our Year 8 pupils really enjoyed working with Bishop Grosseteste University drama students in their Theatre in Education day this week.  We had the pleasure of welcoming 30 second year drama students from Bishop Grosseteste University to run a Theatre in Education day with all our Year 8 pupils. The day was designed to cover some serious issues which may affect young people but using performing art to get over the key facts and issues. The Year 8 were split in to their House groups and spent the day seeing performances and taking part in workshops covering life issues ranging from Bereavement, Addiction, Sexuality, Bereavement, Body Image, Young Carers and Cyber Bullying. Serious issues but a fun way to learn about them!
