Work experienceSee some fantastic photographs and comments from all the wonderful employers who kindly agreed to offer work placements to our Year 10 students in March. We are grateful for all the wide ranging opportunities and the life changing experiences you provided.

Well done Year 10s on making us so proud and thank you again to all the organisations who got involved!

Some wonderful feedback from our Placement hosts and customers of the hosts:

“I wanted to let you know personally how lovely it has been to have Miss Meachem working alongside us in F2 this week.  She has been so polite and helpful and quickly picked things up which is crucial in our very large, very busy unit!  We would love to have her back at any time in the future and both girls have been an absolute credit to your school.  Please pass on my thanks to them again.”

“May I take the time to thank you for allowing your students to support us over the years through work experience at Boots.  It has been a pleasure working all of your students that have worked in our store.”

Mercedes Handley, Store Manager, Boots the Chemist, Newark

“I am a Teaching Assistant at Chuter Ede Primary School.  Together with our Year 6s we were on a extended visit to PGL at Caythorpe. I would like to say that how extremely impressed I was by one of Year 10 Work Experience students – Jon Laird. He was brilliant with the children, very polite and really helpful.  I support a child with Aspergers and at the end of the session he asked me if I would mind explaining what Aspergers was!  I was impressed by his attitude and maturity.  Please would you mind passing this on to the relevant person.”
