Sixth Formers experience STEM day at RAF Coningsby

Hannah flyingOn Wednesday 24th April Sixth Form students Rebecca Hedge, Elise Souter and Hannah Grindley along with Miss Wilson, Head of Sixth, were invited to RAF Coningsby as guests of BAE Systems to learn about STEM careers and their work with the Typhoon fleet. They had a full day on the base; touring the various engineering workshops, trying out a flight simulator and seeing the incredible planes up close. It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to meet such a wide range of people with interesting career backgrounds and has inspired them to think about their next steps.
